Student Spotlight

Carson Slagle is this week’s spotlight student in Advanced PE/Weightlifting. Carson works extremely hard and enjoys lifting weights. He is continuously increasing his weight lifted in every exercise and continues to push himself in order to reach his goals. Since the beginning of the school year, he has increased his bench press by over 30 lbs! He continuously finishes his workout and is a pleasure to have in class.

Great job and keep up the great work Carson!

SMS Art News! 7th Grade Food Sculptures! 7th Grade Artists collaborated to make their favorite foods to feast on for Thanksgiving. 🦃

Elementary News!
Mrs. Terry's class was using the Dash robots to practice their programming skills in Computer Class last week!

Big Red Recap:

The winter sports season is now in full swing and your daily Big Red recap posts have returned! The MS girls basketball team opened up their season on Monday night at home taking on Crestline in a non-league 7th/8th combined game. The Lady Big Red took a tough 24-20 loss to open up their season. They will be right back in action tonight hosting Western Reserve with both 7th and 8th grade teams playing.

Athletic News! The Lady Big Red have arrived in Cleveland and are warming up! We’d also like to thank local officials Kevin Echelberry, Greg McDowell, and Dirk Devito for making the trip as well to officiate the game! Go Big Red!!

Girls Basketball Gameday!!

The winter sports season is officially here as the girls basketball season officially starts today and the Lady Big Red will be our first winter team to see game action as they begin their season today in Cleveland! They will take on South Central in the season opener today at 1:30pm at Rocket Arena in downtown Cleveland on the floor of the Cleveland Cavaliers! It will be an exciting day for our girls and coaches and we are looking forward to getting the season started!
