Big Red Recap:
Tuesday night was full of basketball action for the Big Red as all of our MS teams were in action at home while the JV and Varsity girls were also in action on the road. The MS girls hosted Crestview and picked up the only Big Red win of the night as the 7th grade scored a basket with 3 seconds to go in the game to take the win over the Cougars by a score of 16-15. The Cougars would then force the split as they won the 8th grade game over the Big Red. Both teams will be back in action tonight at Lucas starting at 5:30pm.
The MS boys also were in action at home hosting New London as both the 7th and 8th grade teams dropped tough games to the Wildcats. They will also both be right back in action tonight at home against Lucas also starting at 5:30pm.
The JV and Varsity girls traveled to Mansfield Christian and both lost to the Flames. The Varsity played tough early in the game and battled the Flames in the 1st quarter trailing 14-6 after the quarter but it was all Flames during the 2nd quarter as they began to pull away to the eventual 61-25 win over the Lady Big Red. The Lady Big Red drop to 0-7 overall on the season and will be back in action on Friday night at home against New London.
