Big Red Recap:
The MS Volleyball teams were in action on Wednesday night hosting Mapleton in conference action and came away with a sweep of the Mounties as both teams picked up wins. They will be back in action on Monday next week when they host St. Paul.
The MS Football team was also in action as they traveled to New London. It was a rough night for the Big Red as they fell by a 36-0 final score to the Wildcats. They will be back in action next Wednesday at Monroeville.

SMS and PHS News!
Plymouth High School and Middle School Retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, October 6.
This is for students that were absent on Picture Day and Students that would like a Picture Retake. For Retakes, your original Picture packet and all of the pictures MUST be returned before a new package can be ordered.
There is no charge for a retake as long the original package is returned.
There are Order Forms in the office for those that would like to place an order.
Online Ordering is also available before Picture Day and up to 2 days after Picture Day.

Big Red Recap:
It was a volleyball Monday night as our MS and HS teams all were in action at home. The MS teams hosted New London in conference play and both lost to the Wildcats. The 7th grade forced a 3rd set before losing while the 8th grade fell in 2 straight sets. Both teams will return to action on Wednesday hosting Mapleton.
The JV and Varsity hosted Crestline in non-conference play and both picked up wins over the Bulldogs with the varsity earning their first victory of the season. The JV won in 2 straight sets before the varsity came out and took control early with a dominant win in the first set. Crestline bounced back to take the 2nd set before the Big Red took sets 3 and 4 to pick up the win. Both teams will be right back in action tonight hosting New London.

Big Red Weekend Recap:
The weekend got started on Friday night at Alumni Field as the Big Red hosted Chalker in Northern 8 conference play and what a night it was as we celebrated Military and First Responder Appreciation Night as well as mini-cheer night! After a very patriotic and moving pre-game ceremony that included recognizing our veterans and first responders, flag presentation, Miss Ohio singing the national anthem, mercy flight flying over and then landing and delivering the game ball the Big Red and Wildcats treated everyone in attendance to an exciting back and forth football game. Chalker got on the board first with an opening drive TD before the Big Red answered with two TD's sandwiched around an interception on defense that would give the Big Red a 14-8 early lead. Chalker would score another TD to make the score 16-14 at the end of the 1st quarter. The 2nd quarter would be much of the same as the two teams traded scores on each of their possesions and the Big Red would take a 28-24 lead into the half. Both offenses continue to roll in the 3rd quarter as they again continued to trade scores after the Big Red scored on their opening drive of the half to take a 34-24 lead. Chalker would go onto add two 3rd quarter TD's between another one from the Big Red as the Big Red would hold onto a 42-36 lead going into the 4th quarter. The Big Red defense showed up in the 4th quarter and would Chalker out of the endzone while the Big Red offense added another late TD to give the Big Red a 48-36 win over the Wildcats and concluded an overall great night at Alumni Field. The win improves the Big Red to 2-4 overall on the season and 2-3 in conference play and they will host Holgate this week on homecoming.
We would like to shoutout and send our sincere thank you's to all who helped make Friday night's Military and First Responder Appreciation Night possible including a special thank you to Coach Adam Beverly for planning and coordinating the pre-game ceremony. Thank you to Troy Barker and the Plymouth Fire Department for their help in coordinating the mercy flight flyover and gameball delivery. Thank you to Miss-Ohio for joining us and her awesome performance of the National Anthem. We would also like to recognize and thank Chalker's coaches and players for their support and involvment in the event and for teaming up with our players to hold the flag. It was a special night and thank you to ALL who helped make it possible!!
The Cross Country teams were in action on Saturday morning at the Fremont St. Joe Streak Invite at Walsh Park in Fremont. The HS boys team brought home a 4th place team finish.
