In honor of homecoming court being selected this week, 6 crowns have been hidden around the middle and high school. Students and staff who find a crown, and turn it in, receive a prize. All 6 crowns were found today. Great job everyone! 😊

Big Red Recap:
The Big Red golf team was in action on Thursday night in their final conference dual match of the season and ended on a high note with a win over Western Reserve at Thunderbird Hills North GC by a team score of 214-215. Carson Lewis led the way for the Big Red with a 48. They finish with a 2-8 record in conference dual matches on the season. They will be back in action on Monday in a non-league dual match at Colonel Crawford.
The MS Football team was in action at home for the first time this season taking on St. Paul. It was a rough night for the Big Red as they could not get anything going on offense and lost to the Flyers by a 30-0 final score. They will be back in action next Thursday at Mapleton.
The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams were also in action hosting Western Reserve and both fell in straight sets to the Roughriders. The Varsity falls to 2-9 overall on the season and 0-6 in league play and will be back in action on Monday next week hosting Keystone.

The MS Volleyball teams were the only teams in action on Wednesday night as they traveled to Western Reserve. Both teams lost tough games to the Roughriders falling straight sets. They will be off for the rest of the week and back in action on Monday when they host South Central.

Big Red Recap:
It was a busy Tuesday night for our Big Red fall teams as several of our teams were in action. The golf team hosted their final home match of the season against New London and lost to the Wildcats by a team score of 162-198. Parker Miller led the way for the Big Red with a 47 and was followed by Trevor Furr's 49 as they drop to 3-14 overall in matches and 1-8 in the conference. They will be back in action on Thursday at Western Reserve.
The MS Volleyball teams were in action hosting Crestline in a non-league game and came away with a sweep as both the 7th and 8th grade teams picked up nice wins. They will be right back in action tonight at Western Reserve.
The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams were also in action at home hosting Crestview in conference play and came away with a split with the Cougars. The JV won in 2 straight sets before the varsity fell in 3 straight sets. The varsity falls to 2-8 overall and 0-5 in conference play and will be back in action on Thursday at home against Western Reserve.
The Cross Country teams were also in midweek action as they traveled to Crestview for their annual Invite. It was a light showing for the Big Red as several of our runners sat out of the meet for rest and recovery. Audrey Smith led the way for the Big Red with an 11th place finish in a time of 14:41 while Anna Caughenbaugh took 23rd in the HS girls race. For the boys, Weston Smith led the way with a 36th place finish in a time of 13:46 and was followed by Levi Foley in 42nd place and Luke Kelbley in 47th place. Ari Miller represented the MS girls in 65th place and Gabe Tackett took 69th in the MS boys race. The teams will be back in action on Saturday at Lakota's Myron Cline Invite.
