Dates to Remember for One School, One Book Program, Week of 3-31-25:
Wednesday, April 2nd- Big Red Reads Day- Wear your school spirit wear or anything Red or White to show your Big Red Pride!
Dear Plymouth Shiloh Families:
A One School, One Book program is designed to strengthen home, school, and community connections with literacy activities using a district-wide text. We have chosen Andrew Clements' Frindle as our book to explore this spring. We hope this will promote a culture of reading and discussion across the district.
Each family will receive a copy of Frindle to read at home and keep for your family library. We have recorded chapters you can listen to, or you can choose to read it as a family. Please see the audio links tab for the chapter videos and read aloud links.
Throughout the next 2 months, we hope you will engage with us and the book through the suggested family discussion questions, during various activities including themed dress up days, or explore the library scavenger hunt (the week of April 6th), or at our Frindle celebration (May 6th).
Refer to the calendar and other resources on this site or from your child's teacher for activity details.
Happy reading!
